There has to be a change in its core group:

1.First and foremost sinu-sino ba yung 13 convenors

2. Alisin ang dalawang Mando

3. May representation ang bawat region ng bansa

Ano ba set-up nyang I-Cafe Pilipinas? For profit o non-profit? Kanino napupunta ang kita nito o contributions na natatatanggap nito? Ano yung convenors? Sino sino ang mga yan? Anong background? May sweldo ba sila? Taga-saan? Paano pinipili ang presidente at mga officers? Napapalitan ba mga miyembro ng I-Cafe Pilipinas? Paano pinagdedesisyunan ang adhikain ng grupong ito? Paano masasabi na yung adhikain ng grupong ito ay naayon sa interest ng nakakaraming internet cafe?

No offense pero nag-iingat lang para hindi na maulit yung nangyari sa coperative.

this site just became the launching pad for icafe pilipinas because most if not all of its members are also ulop members...

ito yung unang attend ko sa meeting ng Icafe Pilipinas... nakaka pang hinayang...mas mainam na lang kung gumawa ng bago para hindi na maulit yung pagkakamali sa Icafe Pilipinas...

Sang-ayon ako dito. Bagong organisasyon na mas malaki ang sakop. Mas maigi kung ang mga miyembro ay representative ng iba't ibang internet cafe organization sa iba't ibang lugar para para hindi kontrolado ng iilang tao lang. Regular ang meeting para magkakilanlan ng harapan at hindi sa forum lang.

Huwag natin paghaluin ang Association-Organization sa Cooperative, namimiss-interpret, magka-iba po ang nature ng dalawa.

Ang nakikita kong papel ng iCafe Pilipinas na nagagampanan is representing sa mga Gov't. agencies, sa congress/senate, etcs. hinggil sa mga policies/batas/regulations/memorandum na apektado ang iCafe industry. Aminin man natin o hinde, pwedeng magkaroon ng impact sa industriya ang nangyayari sa taas/ibang level.

I think this is more of voicing out/stand natin sa mga issues at policies ng iCafe industry sa Pilipinas. Ano ba ang gusto o dapat iparating natin sa government at other sectors.

Pwede naman gantong setup:

si iCafe Pilipinas = doing Advocy Works/representation (dahil siya ang nirerecognize ng government)

si federation/org./assoc. = help, nurture and develop its iCafe members


Siguro Federation po ang kelangan natin itayo. Hindi ko lang alam kung may mandate ang pagtatayo ng federation ng mga iCafes at nirerrevamp pa ngayon ang ICT. Kasi ang kooperatiba may revised Cooperative Code of 2008, meron din ang Transport sector.

Dahil sa may limit yung number of words or maybe the characters for each options, hindi nasama sa wording ng unang option ang mga words na "with changes on modes of membership and leadership". Ibig sabihin ng Option 1 ay gagamitin pa rin ang pangalang I-Cafe Pilipinas pero ang mode of membership at leadership ay babaguhin nang naaayon sa kagustuhan ng nakakarami.

+1 we need this organization to fulfill the needs of lanshop industry, kung ok lang sa inyo start from scratch...
