and yung mga illagal na operators, simple lang naman, kaya nga illegal, they will saturate the market para tuluyan ng mawala ang industriya.

IMHO, start from your own backyard. There is no oraganization on earth that can save your ass during bankruptcy. Magtipid, maginvest at lumagay sa tama. Ang pera kusang darating.

Eto lang mga Bossing di ko kasi magets paano tayo matutulungan ng isang I cafe organization. Sa mga proponents nito ilatag niyo kasi dito ang proposal niyo at kung paano niyo balak isakatuparan ang inyong advocacy. Paano niyo balak isustain ang organization para maging effective. Ano ang gusto niyo gawin. =)

Create a new Org.

Suggestions:
- Outsource majority of the management/business tasks/functions if budget permits. Specially the funds management.
- Hassle mag manage ng isang org. Homeowners association nga lang dami ng reklamo ng reklamo di naman nakakatulong sa pag ma manage. Para patas at walang reklamo, outsource it.
Kung magkawalaan ng pondo, yung BPO ang mananagot at di na pahirapan sa legal actions.

- Then members/directors can FOCUS on the policies, projects, fund raisings etc.

I'm sure budget ang unang question diyan. Pero kung confident ang members na di malulustay pera nila then willing silang mag bayad ng membership fee.

Sa totoo lang ha binasa ko ang site pero masyadong general ang coverage ng mga ideas mas ok sana kung maiincorporate niyo ang specifics kung paano niyo po balak iimplement ang advocacy. Ano kailangang gawin? Paano gagawin? Sino mga gagawa?

Are all these I-Café Pilipinas convenors successful internet cafe operators? I think I remember reading that most of its prominent members were hard-pressed in their own businesses. If most or many of those leading this organization can't even earn a decent living in their own internet cafe businesses, that will open many temptations down the line as different interests from other groups come along. Do you all believe that they'll do this advocacy thing, which is indeed hard work, for free? And they just do it for the love of the industry? I think few people are that idealistic. I suspect they see or hope for some financial return for all those work.

clue naman dyan ehehehe...pero seriously kung itutuloy pa rin ang Icafe Pilipinas... ano assurance ng mga kasapi na wala na yung mga involve dun sa coop mess??? anong guarantee ang maibibigay na hindi na sila makaka hawak ng pwesto or magiging member nito? kaya naman nag suggest ako ng mag create na lang ng bago, para naman mabigyan yung mga gustong tumulong sa industry...
