actually ohjomz hindi kami gumagamit ng anti virus panigurado na sasabihin na bakit wala bang virus sa linux mayroon pero hindi ganoon ka dami ng sa windows at usually naman nakikita agad ng community kaya nakakapag update agad para malabanan yung gumawa ng virus.

isa pa yan sa need ko sa linux sir ohjomz......

need ko para kahit anong gawin ng customer ko sa pc isang restart lang balik sa original state.....

Lethe program yun ginamit ko dati.....

Lethe na ata yun pinaka madaling nagamit ko.......

ang problema simula sa beta test hindi na ata tinuloy nun programmer yun updates nya sa contribution nya........

@sir polaris...

ano pong linux distro gamit nyo sa lanshop? (alam ko na po pero heads up lng din pra sa lahat ^^)
ano po gamit nyong timer?
ano pong mga MS files ang ininstall nyo at paano? (let's say .net framework, etc etc...)
ano po gamit nyong office software for encoding, etc?

ano po gamit nyo IM? or YM.exe alternative for linux?

paano po setup nyo sa useful software at ilanan po setup nyo? 1:2, 1:3, 1:5? (nabanggit nyo po sakin through pm)

kamusta naman po viruses nyo? (ive heard na marami na rin kumakalat ng linux viruses..)

balak ko po kasi ganito na lang setup sa 2nd floor (for internet only)

balak ko rin po magsetup ng useful pra d2... 1:2 setup lng...kung kaya ba 1:3 or up to 4 why not?

sna po matulungan nyo ko sir...

pati po kay darkvice....patulong din po...

mga linux specialist d2...^^

i believe it would be linux mint or pclinuxos that will eventually get lanshop owners over the microsoft horsesh#t all of us has had to keep up for all these years..

sir alin sa experience mo mas ok performance yun KDE Desktop or yun Gnome Desktop ng PCLinuxOS?

os: linux mint 8 helena (gnome desktop environment)
proprietary: openoffice.org 3.1, skype, ym, etc etc...chikka for linux?
misc: userful 1:2 setup..
timer: cafe con leche or mkahawa

status as of this time: installed linux mint 8 on pc1 (formerly pc1 & pc2)...
-now installing nvidia drivers to make dual monitor support available...
-next stage: userful multiplier...^^

update ko kayo!

nga pala...pa-help naman sa usb sound card driver...i cant seem to get it working...
