I would be opening an internet cafe soon and thinking of going diskless. Here are my specs. I'm open for suggestions and recommendations on what hardware could last for years and still be on top of the line.

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - P 9,790
Motherboard: Emaxx AMD880G-FXN AM3 HD4250 DDR2/3.2 - P 4,190
Ram: 4gb DDr3 gskill(2x2GB) - P 2,990
HD: Western Digital 500gb Blue Caviar 3.5" sata III - P 2,390
VC: Power Color 5770 1gb - P 8,990
Monitor: AOC 21.5" LED - P 9,490
Casing: Quality ATX Case - P 1,590
Keyboard and Mouse: Standard - P 450
Standard Speaker - P 150
PSU: 600 Watts - P 690

TOTAL:
P 40,720
(34,500 discounted)

Please help me choose the right hardware. My main purpose would be for gaming. Is my processor, motherboard, and memory enough for my setup? I would be using Winxp x86 but for future maybe windows 7 x86 that's why i made it 4gb ram. Im more into MSI, Asus, Gigabyte motherboards, what could you recommend. Is my processor too much for my purpose?

maglalagi ka lang dito sa ulop marami ka matutunan kung pano i-handle ang business at patayin ang kalaban mo hehehehehe

->joke

goodluck sa business nyo po!

from my years of experience setting a computershop, you probably consider the following :
1. specification
2. power consumption
3. quality
4. ROI

FYI : you cannot utilize 4gb of ram on a 32 bit OS (x86)
i would rather go to a high core2 instead of a quad because not all games utilize quadcore (even nba live 2k11 only utilis 2 cores. isa palang nalaro ko na cpu intensive which is GTAIV. aside from that, going quad will be pointless.

for the motherboard, i recommend good quality capacitor Asus boards
and never go to a generic power supply. you can start to FSP power supply or go corsair.

what kind of games are you planning to install?

for a good quality / ambience shop like i saw near lasalle, you can also have special request like controllers / wheels / jouysticks etc. but one thing is for sure, its not for a 10/hr shop

also provide a good quality network design and items. giga network or maybe cat 6 or 7

So do you think getting an athlon II x2 250 would suite my needs and lowering my memory to just 2GB and investing more on video card and power supply would be the right step taking into consideration for future upgrades. My purpose is even how many years would pass, my rig would still compete with the latest ones

I suggest you use 64bit OS. Yugn 4Gigs na RAM mo hindi mo yan ma optimize using 32bit OS.
