Yung bandwidth requirement ng isang Shop depende yan sa kung anong ibinibigay mong services or yung talagang target mong customer... Gamer or Surfer...
Kc sa online games di naman tinatanong masyado ang bandwidth, mas tinatanong ay yung latency or delay from your computer to another computer. So a 384 Kbps, I think manageable yan sa 8 computers na lahat ay online games. Di maglalag yan assuming na nakukuha mo yung ganyang speed.
Sa mga bandwidth shaper
Sa mga test ko tol bandwidth shaper nakakadagdag yan ng lag sa laro. I use that before pero tinanggal ko. I don't know what cause it but it increase my latency during games.
Sa Surfing naman mas tinatanong ang bandwidth. Lalo na sa mga youtube and other video and music streaming sites. Hmmmnnnn d2 if yung requirement na tinatanong mo eh ang gusto mo pag nagopen ka ng streaming sites ala masyado buffing eh your 2mb plan is only enough for 4 pc assuming they are all streaming.
Ganto Setup ko kc I cater both games and surfing
I have 2 dsl lines. One is Globe 3MB Tycoon and one is PLDT 2MB. Download me ng Clarkconnect and install it. Meron na itong proxy server and some other features like content filtering, and Antivirus.
I configure all my HTTP/S, FTP Request to GLOBE DSL and all Online Games to PLDT. In my area pldt is better than GLOBE in terms of latency. Globe offered a larger bandwidth than PLDT and cheaper that's why I used Globe.
I have 40 Computers in my shop and there are no complains whether some are surfing and others are playing online GAmes.
