TOPIC: linksys router

I was using a linksys router...yesterday, wasn't able to have internet connection..I called customer service of pldtdsl to check on my connections..akala ko po down sila..since matagal po sila mag service i tried to troubleshoot my PC myself...I directly connected the modem to my PC bypassing the router and got my internet connection back...but when i tried to connect through my router, no internet connection....tried resetting the router, ganun pa din naman po...ano po kaya suggestions ninyo to fix my problem? thanks.

My modem is a zykel yun 600 series ng pldt and linksys BEFSR41 4 port..my modem is connected to the router then one cable from the router going to my switch..gumagana naman po dati without any problems..kahapon lang po bigla wala akong internet connections using this router. Ano po kaya problema? Maraming salamat po.

possible cause sir

1. busted modem or router
2. improper Gateay DNS config.

I tried it again last night...Gumana po siya for a few minutes lang then was not receiving any internet connections again..Tried to reboot everything from my PC to the modem and the router pero no connections na talaga...I'll be returning the router to the store since under warranty pa naman, just got it last December.

boss tanong ko lang kung naka keep alive yung router mo, kung hindi naka enable, try mong ienable baka masolve pa, pero kung ayaw pa din.. alam na...

Finally, got my replacement for my router na this pm..up and working na po internet connection ko with the new router. Thanks.

speedstream sa akin pero naexperience ko din yan pagnakadirect sa dsl modem yung pc nagkakainternet pero pag may router ayaw..ang problema lang pala is DNS config(in my experience) sir try mo kaya iping yung IP ng router mo, and or baka po naka DHCP ka sa router pero naka Static ka po sa Local...

I finally sold my linksys router and got a different brand. Now my net is working just fine...
