Without additional info such as a) what sort of switches (enterprise, managed vs unmanaged) are those especially the backbone one and the type of interswitch link (trunk, VLAN enabled vs cascade); IP addressing, it would be quite difficult to provide informed suggestion.

In saying that, based on info provided and assuming that you will employ single subnet only, I would say that it is not optimal due to following reasons: a) unless the interswitch is on trunk-mode, VLAN enabled, then it will definitely affect the performance; b) wifi LANs (and optionally even printer or the servers should be on separate subnet); c) single point of failure (core switch); d) many more
