Feedback for someone actually using globe's LTE plan 1299: me. (I'm waiting for my upgrade to fiber.)

* They have TWO kinds of plan 1299. One is the regular 50gb net data and additional 100gb youtube data. (bad for shop coz 50gb limit is terrible). Then there's the 2nd kind. The agent call it crystel/krystel or something like that. This is 150gb NET data. Globe won't tell you this so you have to insist on it.

* my PLDT DSL plan 2600 went bad. I only get 600 kbps upload speed and PLDT won't fix it. Filed a ticket several times with no result. My gamers are lagging. So I tried globe and it's surprisingly very good in gaming (no lag at all). The technology improved like 1000 times compared to my smart bro days some 13 yrs ago (the one with antenna).

* Getting good bandwidth around 17 mb/s. Now this very high bandwidth will consume your monthly allocation in a couple of days. Solution: Net limiter. Basically I split my shop in two. Half for gamers (globe LTE) with limited bandwidth and half for browsers (PLDT) with unlimited bandwidth. Hindi na nagrereklamo ng lag mga gamers ko (unless pumwesto sila sa browsers PCs)

* I'm still disk-based. So I'm either shifting all PCs to PLDT to update (if update is small) or sync-copying for large updates.

* Caveat: I'm getting MAX LTE signal (all stats are max). This is because i'm literally just beside globe's tower. Like 20-30 meters. So my experience could be different from yours.
