Currently, I am looking for a place to buy desktop computers preferably for gaming. I don't really plan to have them assembled... Would this specs be enough??? And is the price okay? The quota is from Qube (Gilmore) although I did a little alteration by adding the DLink PCI Wireless Lang. Please take a look. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

replace foxconn mainboard with compatible ECS board if your tight on budget, asus/msi if me pang dagdag. i've heard lots of bad reviews about foxconn.

wifi ba gagamitin mong connection sa LAN? di ata masyado feasible... Mas OK pa din ang wired LAN.

if you have more money to burn, OK ang LCD... me savings ka na electricity, savings pa sa aircon kasi di mainit unlike crt monitors. kaakit-akit pa sa mga customer ang LCD.

cons using LCD, need mo sya gawaan ng table na maganda. un me takip para di mahahawakan ng mga customer.

i think napag usapan na din ang LCD monitor dito sa forums so search mo na lang.

goodluck!

If you have a tight budget, you can get a client PC for 16k or even lower. That's enuf to play the Good Games. Yung sakin 15,500 ang inabot per PC,hanap ka lang sa Gilmore. You can also get big discounts if you tell them that it's for icafe set-up and you'll buy more if the deal is good.
But if you want to settle for high end PC's, the one we call future proof, asus/msi,athlon,1gig memory,512 VC,15\" LCD monitor - with a price range of 25-30k ;)

Goodluck po and Welcome to ULOP!

TIPs:
1. 1Gig na DDR2 > 7100GS 128mb will overcloak to 512mb

2. K8M890M2MA-RS2H Has 64mb Back-up V-card
6100M2MA-RS2H Has 256mb Back-up V-card (Back-up for VC Failure) 64mb lng ang shared na kukunin sa Memory mo (PACKAGE MO YAN)

I owned 2 6100M2MA( 2-DDR 2-DDR2 slot ) no VC pero humahataw ang 256MB na Built-in)

3. CRT is 10 ~ 20% cheaper than LCD, BUT!!! LCD is 70 ~ 75% more energy saving that CRT.

4. Dont Include The Hard Disk buy the hard disk separately(in other shop) heitachi kasi HDD nyan buy ka ng Seagate para 3yrs warranty.

5. AVR insteed of Surge Protector

6. Wired or Wireless wla me alam jan (sayo naman un alam ko Free naman yan Wireless router sa Qube)

7. Dont Forget to demmand the Sticker of the Processor (Hingiin mo Core2Duo or Athlon64 X2 Sticker)Bibigyan ka nila for sure kung meron Upgrade ung Sticker ng Processor mo... Hehehe The Best on Qube Store

Final decision is still your ^_^

Post edited by: albert02, at: 2007/04/16 23:44

palitan mo lahat kung ayaw mo bili ng bili ng parts :D

pentium dual core / 2 \"2.8 ghz - 3ghz\"
asus mobo
200 gig HD
512-1 gig memomry \"any brand\" \"pinakamura pwede na\"
256 VC \"PCIexpress\"
lcd 15\" or 17\" crt \"HP or view sonic\"

mouse keyboard casing kahit ano na gusto mo.

i think price nito aabot 20-25k...

yang specs na yan low details lang ang need for speed carbon dyan hahaha. gawin mo 512 ang VC 1 gig ang memory sakali mag high details siya :D
