TOPIC: Pc auto shutdown upon loading windows

Need help lang mga guys dito sa problem ko...

Scenario: Upon turning on client pc, it automatically shuts down upon loading OS (windos XP) But sometimes it runs smoothly.

Specs: Redfox NF61S SE with AMD Sempron 1gb ram: 80gb SATA HD; Nvidia 7300GS; 500w Generic PSU

Actions that has been already taken:

Replace PSU with the same type - No avail
Remove Aux Fan and Video Card (onboard in-use) - No avail
Replace RAM - No avail
Replace HD - No avail
Swap Procie with same type - No avail
Remove all switches (i used a screw driver to short power switch) - No avail
Replace AVR - No avail

Pa post naman kung ano pa pwedeng gawin for trouble shooting ng problem...

Minsan gumagana sya pero mas madalas yung auto shutdown nya....

may lumabas ba sa screen na "Windows Is Shutting Down" ?

kung meron, malamang virus

baka mababa ang set ng temperature sa cpu,try mo i adjust sa mataas.

yung cpu fan speed ba? better if you set it to below 50C for best performance (if bios allows).

@batt, medyo malabo yung autoshutdown mong sinasabi. as in "shutting down computer"? <<<--- virus

or the system unit simply reboots? <<<--- nag BSOD due to high CPU temp, memory error, device driver error.

try mo muna mag safe mode, and remove your ide drivers. then reboot and reinstall the drivers from the motherboard driver cd. if the drivers load and windows boots up fine, yun na nga problema.

if not, check the temperature. if it's going anywhere near or over 70C (unless intel and mobo mo), temp is too high. check your heatsink mounting, fan speed sa bios, or put in new thermal paste (150 pesos from cdr-king good for 4-6 units)).

clean your memory sockets. module may have a loose contact. spray with electronic contact cleaner (399 pesos at Handyman).

virus! i just experienced this . ginawa ko inalis ko hdd and put it in the client(secondary) then hard scan...
result= 500+ virusesusesusesuses! amp! yung bantay ko kasi dinisable ung AV ko nung thursday tapos yun na!

@bien auto shutdown means namamatay lang sya agad w/out any errors

Cpu temp is @ 17c based on POST

HD or OS is not an issue `coz i tried to use it on my other pc with same specs and its working very fine.

I`ve already swapped procie and HSF with other unit but same result.

Virus is out of sight since i have DF and Antivirus that is updated regularly.

Last resort is the mobo but when i boot on safe mode it works perfectly.
