I can't access YAHOO.COM
...but I can access MAIL.YAHOO.COM

Tapos ung ibang mga websites hindi na-a-access
...pero ung iba ok lang


This 'condition' has affected ALL the computers in my shop
...that's why I suspect it's a network virus


As an aside, I've also requested assistance from my ISP (Eastern Tel).

I've done some research and think that the virus is called ISTBAR

selective browsing po yan. Palit ka po ng DNS. Dami na solution yan dito sa ulop forum, search nyo lang dito un keyword na "selective browsing"

pag DNS ang problem kahit palitan pa may mga websites na inoperable pa rin. contact your ISP and tell them you are experiencing problems with your DNS or better yet wait till it gets fixed. it won't take that long.

Almost all ISP are having problems with their DNS these days.

DIGITEL ba ang line mo kung digitel ka ganyang ganyan ang nangyari sakin kahapon coz i used DNS server kasi naka static IP ako... tapos tinawag ko sa Digitel humingi ako ng DNS number iba na pla ang gamit nila nung pinalitan ko ok na sya...yung una kong tawag tinanong ko kung nagbago sila ng DNS server number sabi nila di daw tapos nung hiningi ko yung number iba na nga.....nung pinalitan ko ok na sya.

We always recommend OpenDNS when our members here experienced DNS issues. It may work for some. Try niyo na lang po.

i have the same problem with TS last week... ang problema ay yung ISP mo try to contact your isp and change your DNS to open dns....

try to scan ur pc with antivirus and spyware maybe ma virus nga po yan, hope it will help you
