Question para sa mga Linux Masters was created by tinoy
Meron ba kayong kahit anong app sa system nyo na in-edit nyo yung source and ni recompile nyo ulit yung binary...ang point is yung dinownload nyo yung source, made an edit, then downloaded a compiler suite, then recompiled yung source na in-edit nyo? it can be anything simple or complicated...mukhang yun kasi ang pagdadaanan ko ngayon para ma change ko yung certain behavior ng isang app...

ang tanong ko lang is masakit ba sa ulo gawin...gagawin ko palang po kasi...

sir depende sa idadagdag nyo na function or behavior baka kailangan pa nang additional lib, kung edit lang nang text field,add menus,add exec commands madali lang

ano app po ba yan sir? ano language

baka may shell based app alternative na standard output para madali i pipe at manipulate , kaya na nang bash one-liner

salamat po sa reply...

nakagawa na kasi ako ng dual boot iscsi booting using windows at linux (lubuntu at linux mint), ngayon gusto ko sana gamiting yung default initiator ng 2 (open-iscsi) na makaconnect sa windows based iscsi target (isharedisk sa windows), at gawin itong gamedisk via linux, since supported naman ng ubuntu based yung ntfs (ntfs-3g), siguro wala nman tong magiging problema, ang problem kasi mina-mount ko sa linux yung isharedisk, nagrereklamo sya (initiatoralias setting ata), kaya hindi ko sya ma mount within linux...so yun sana ang balak ko, iedit yung open-iscsi source, tanggalin yung nagsesend ng initiatoralias na code, at hope na makaconnect na sya...at since me wine naman yung ginawa kong image, hopefully maka run ako ng some games working from linux...

sir baka config issue lang po yan,naka connect na po ba yung open-iscsi sa target? detected na po ba yung ntfs volume sa linux (using dmesg command may bagong /dev/sd* po ba) ? ano po error message?

kailangan po detected na yung disk volume partition bago nyo po sya i mount

ayaw talaga e, me sine send kasi yung open-iscsi na initiatoralias na hindi pa ata supported ng isharedisk...so kelangan siguro tanggalin sa source yung nag sesend ng initiatoralias...

gumagana yung ntfs vol sa iscsi target kasi, kumo-connect ako sa sarili kong gawang iscsi target mula sa linux at ok naman (supported kasi ng target ko yung initiatoralias)

...pero syempre mas maganda sana na maka connect ka sa isharedisk gamedisk...
