wala akong alam sa linux pero astig po talaga ito para sakin.

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Ito ang ginagamit kong Linux distribution as my desktop. Palagay ko mga 3 years ko narin itong ginagamit sa office/work.

Na-inis ako sa mga viruses na nag-infect sa Windows desktop ko dati. Kaya ngayon wala akong worry masyado sa viruses.

Maagang throwback ah, 8 months... Yung ibang threads na hinahalungkat 8-9 years old hahaha...

Three years exclusive to Linux sir? No Windows VM / Wine / dual-boot? Nasubukan ko na ang 14.04 (Unity, Xubuntu at Lubuntu) but haven't upgraded my rigs yet. I want to make sure all the kinks are worked out. If not for LightLocker (my timer doesn't like it as default locker for the clients, so I'm considering other alternatives), malamang naka-14.04 na ako ngayon. Pero it just goes to show na kahit 12.04 pa rin ang gamit ko, it's very stable. I haven't reformatted any of my clients since 2012, not even the server.

Sarap ng feeling no? Kahit na may virus ang mga USB flash drives at memory cards, kampante ka na hindi mahahawa ang Linux rig mo. Nganga mga Windows malware hehehe.

database sever - Centos, Red Hat, Amazon Linux (stability)
app server - Ubuntu, Debian (speed)
workstation - Mac (security)
