Slackware

Why?

- stability , simplicity , manual system control and ease of use
- simple lang yung system configs, lahat text files (less graphical configuration management, less automation, less layers , less complexity, less things to break/crash )
- vanilla softwares included, minimal or no modification from software developers, (other distros often need to patch the bugs created their own previous patches/modifications.)
-"if it ain't broke, don't fix it", very minimal yung changes every new version, sa ibang distro nakaka frustrate kapag may feature ka nakasanayan at nagustuhan tapos next version release wala na or pinalitan agad

hindi nawawala yung fun and humor sa slackware
- wayback nung na-release at naging popular yung windows 95, yung slackware 3.1 was called "slackware 96"
- after version 4 nag jump to version 7, skipped version 5 & 6, kasi karamihan nang disto noon puro version 6
- then yung slackware version 13.37 , hehehe

Gagamit k b ng NVidia GTX card s Linux Platform xempre din kaya nga mejo failure din ang Steam OS lalo n kung pag-uusapan natin ang migration ng Windows 7 to Steam OS in terms of IT BEING A STABLE PLATFORM for gaming..

Yes, Linux do take less RAM than Windows but still we want windows because we want stability, reliability, flexibility and TOTAL COMPATIBILITY of every program we will install in our computer..
