Sa totoo lang marami parin sa ating bansa ang gumagamit ng Windows Server, para sa kanilang mga intranet networks.

Very much practical gamitin ang Linux kahit pa sa intranet.

Pero dahil siguro nasanay na sa GUI based ng Windows ang mga tao, kaya Windows Server parin ang mas-pinipili.

Dito sa aking work ay mix environment. Meron Linux (CentOS at Fedora) at Windows Servers.

Ginagamit namin ang Linux, para sa database, DHCP server, web at wifi portal (Untangle).

For e-mail and DNS naman is Windows Server.

bos help naman may ubunto server 10.4 lts ako, need ko sana mag configure ng proxy server using squid for may netshop im using 2 NIcs card. 1 is para sa net connection from isp globe dsl 5to 6 mpbs and ung 1 para sa mga client ko using switch. ang problem ko d ko ma configure ung ip address ko ung static ip, frimary NIC and secondary. help na man. at ung configuration ng squid. thanks more

boss i asumed na tproxy set up gusto mo , fisrt need mo muna i set up ung 2nics mo , static mo sila both , ung isa is your primary which listen on wan connection , and the other one as your lan. be noted na ung lan interface ang gagamtitn ng workstation mo , let say na ang lan mo is 192.168.0.0/24 , so need mo mag add sa acl rule ng isang ip dyan sa config mo sa squid.conf mo , EX. 192.168.0.254/24 or 192.168.0.100/24 , then followed by allow rule then add transparent line after http_port 3128

ex:
acl lan src 192.168.0.254/24
http_access allow lan
transparent

then marunong ka naman po siguro sa iptables ?
nga pala ung sa nic set up , makikita mo po sya sa etc folder under network ,
or pwde din cli na lang,

ung lan subnet ang ipapagamit mo po sa workstation mo,
if ever di mag work sayo ung tp setup check lang po firewall rules mo

boss thanks try ko, kung d ko makuha configuration pwede bang mag pa install ng proxy server using squid for linux how match and with tutorial na rin, im from iba, zambales, wla talaga akong alam about linux, tina try ko lang i explore ung linux. sumasakit ung mata ko sa kakabasa ng mga quide di ko masundan, comptech ako ng isang university d2 sa zambales need me rin sana mga trainings para ma updates namam.thanks more
