actually po kung sa zencafe siya maganda as in maganda timer may automatic shutdown/restart billing system set time rate lahat ok.

kaya lang po pag ubunto ang distro mo pahirapan pag install kung hindi ako nagkakamali iyong server side ang mahirap e install sa ubunto 12.04 medyo nalimutan ko ka tanda ko na kasi ahe he he.

nasubukan kong ma install siya sa ubunto 11.04 pero hindi magkita ang server at client. hindi ako nakatiis hayon nag give up ako. ilang buwan din kasi iyon na palaging puyatan sa kaka solve papano mapapagana.

I came up with a solution... "Remote desktop"
* remote desktop
* set vnc to run before log-in
* remove guest account

pag-aralan ko pa ito maigi.

ito palang naisip ko way just to restric log-in and to lock workstation

ito palang naisip ko way just to restric log-in and to lock workstation

sir pwede mo i lock yung X using xlock command

auto login mo yung gdm,kdm,xdm,or kung ano man gamit mo na desktop manager, tapos execute xlock sa startup (xinitrc, or kung ano man startup script na gamit nang desktop mo)


pwede mo i-lock remotely yung desktop nya, from your server pc terminal

Nabanggit ko na ito noon sa ibang thread, kung may oras ka at inclination to learn shell scripting, or you are already familiar with writing shell scripts, makakagawa ka ng sarili mong timer, tailored to your exact specifications. Tutal ang importante naman dyan ay yung ability to monitor and display remaining time, lock/unlock the terminal, remote startup and shutdown/reboot, as well as bandwidth control. Everything else is extra.

Ang mga basic requirements na iyan ay available as commands and scripts:

Remaining time display - notify-send
Lock/unlock mechanism - gnome-screensaver-command, chvt, pkill
Remote startup - wakeonlan
Remote shutdown/reboot - poweroff, reboot
Bandwidth control - wondershaper
Time mechanism/scheduling - cron
Network communication - ssh
