TOPIC: Utorrent on Linux

just wanna ask kung paano kayo mag start ng utorrent sa linux nyo.

nag install kasi ako the other night. utorrent 3.xx I forgot the version pero current siya.

ginagawa ko kasi para makapag open ng client is through google chrome tapos localhost:8080/gui

ok naman siya di ko lang sure kung normal ba na ganun tlaga pag start ng utorrent sa linux. before kasi di pa ako nakagamit ng utorrent nung first time ko dati mag try ng linux. I'm using Azereus? something like that. ^_^

I don't use utorrent. Transmission ang gamit ko. Sa Transmission preferences may option to enable web client (show the client in a browser instead of as a native app). Baka sa utorrent ganun din. Check mo yung preferences niya kung meron ganun na option.

Or baka ganyan na ang default behavior ng utorrent.

thnx for that info. ganun pala tlaga ang behavior ng mga torrent client ngayun sa linux.

nag-aalala kasi ako baka ma-wala yun mga na download ko kung sakali. pero napansin ko naman sa config niya pwede naman baguhin yung completion path sa local disk partition.

parang cloud apps na pala siya. if my term is right.

ah sakin naman joli OS lang, sinubukan ko sa netbook ko. wala din naman kasi mailagay na games dun sa netbook ko. kaya ginawa ko nalang tlaga siyang "net" book only. ^_^

Actually not all torrent clients follow the same behavior. Nagkataon lang na yung devs ng utorrent dinesisyunan na by default gawing accessible from a web browser instead of a stand-alone app yung UI. So, it's not really a cloud app in a strict sense. Cloud-like lang. ^__^

honestly,it would be best kung ang gagamitin nyong torrent client ay yung natively supported na.

on the other hand,i believe opera web browser can handle torrents as well.

thnx dami palang pag pipiliaan. parang mas gusto ko nga yun native app. na sanay lang kasi ako sa utorrent. ito kasi gamit ko lagi.
