Wala akong alam sa linux. ni mag install ng programs, di ko alam. pero nakita ko ung thread regarding linux or microsoft, and it seems, there are people who would love to prefer linux over MS.

i once used linux (red had) at ang bagal nya sobra.

So, para naman ma encourage ang mga people dito, meron po bang nakakaalam kung pano pabilisan ang linux natin?

ummm curius lang sir, boss naka install ba yung redhat mo? or you are using live cd? kasi kung live cd lang gamit mo, im sure na talang mabagal ang pc mo, and baka may problem din sa mga drivers ng computers mo boss?

nope, naka boot sya from hard drive sir. actually, di ko na ginagamit linux. ginamit ko lang nung panahon ng raid. licensed windows na gamit namin ngayon. talagang mabagal eh. maski sa pagopen ko nung word nila. (ewan ko ano pangalan nun, basta kasama na un sa na install)

if im not mistaken siguro openoffice yung sinasabi mo, ummmm payo ko na lang sir na be aware na may issue ang linux sa mga hardwares drivers... dun siguro nag kaka problema boss, try mo na lang siguro gumamit ng ibang distro, try mo po yung ubuntu libre lang sya di tulad ng redhat ang alam ko di sya free

hmmm.. hindi ko na experience yan sa PCLinuxOS.

there's an alternative, kung nababagalan ka sa OpenOffice, try abiword.

about sa booting kung nababagalan, remove mo lang yung mga services na hindi mo kailangan or just get a distro which is compact and small.

i been hearing this topic an dit attracts me.. siguro pag nakaproduce ako kahit isang PC itry ko ito.....and mabuti na rin na nasusubok natin ang iba to know what was the difference on each other.....

kuha ka ng kahit 486 na PC, lagyan mo ng realtek na lancard, tapos gamitin mo yung \"DSL\" na linux.

Damn so Small Linux.
