eto ang basic troubleshooting procedure sa mga BSOD
1. go to cmos setup
2. revert to its default settings
3. save and exit
if the problem is still there:
4. reinstall os
if the problem is still there, i am pretty sure its a hardware problem, but what hardware?
5. check which hardware is malfunstioning, through the replace and test method.
post mo specs ng pc mo na nag-BSOD, nung bagong bili ko mga 6100's ko nag-bsod din ako pero nung iba ang ginamit kung vga-driver (i use latest nvidia driver from nvidia mismo, instead of the driver that comes from the driver cd) solve na ung bsod ko.
the other pc i fix before with bsod errors. i flash the bios and installed a newer bios. the mobo wouldnt recognize correctly the cpu installed so i updated the bios. a sempron 2800+ is being read by the mobo as an athlon, the bios update fixed it.
another incident of BSOD i experienced was cause by a faulty RAM. the problem was gone when i replaced the ram.
another was caused by an incompatible RAM, BSOD was gone when i installed RAM with backward compatibility. the ones they call double-sided ram sticks.
hope this helps.
