an off topic i read from the thread \"that karma feature\"...now lets talk it over here.

well,you really want to know?i belong to 10per hour rate.
my reason:
im a provincial cafe w/c all of my rival are imposing the 10per hour rate too.
try to go to davao city on which their rates are Php6.00 per hour and some part of cebu are Php4.00 per hour,you guys i think are talking on your district (Manila).

sir can you give as un idea of the expense/income per month???

sir, tanong ko lang meron bang mga maliliit na internet cafe dyan sa lugar nyo? 10/hour din po ba sila?

iba ba ang rates ng dsl at kuryente sa provincial areas? kala ko dati joke lang yung 4/hr sa mga provincial area...

walang 20 dito,kung meron man mga remote area na mga yun,pinakamataas na dito yung 15 per hour,well those cafe na sinasabi ko na katabi ko are mostly gaming,they impost a 10 per hour,liit nga lang ng city namin pero mga cafe dito tag 80 to 100 to 130 units,may rumors pa dito na may magpapatayo ng 250 units,walang biro po yan,as for me im actually 15per hour from 9am-7pm, 10php per hour from 7pm to 12pm,70php from 12pm-7am
25 workstation,3 server = 28pc's
expenses:
monthly electric bill range from 18k to 21k
monthly phone bills: 6k for 2 connection.
employee of 3:150 per day (26 days of work monthly)
water consumption: range from Php400-Php500

sa palagay ko lang po kasi, di ka mabubuhay sa P10/hour tapos 10 units ka lang.. imho lang po yan ah.. i may be wrong, pero kung malakas naman ang shop mo.. hmmm pwede na rin siguro.

tanong ko lang po...nagcocompensate po ba ang sa expenses natin ang 10/hr rate?

too bad that davao was plague by this rate...buti po dito sa Cebu di pa naman ganun kalala...18-15 ang labanan and there are some part that still goes for 30-25. How I wish there is governing body that will control how low and how high one should go in terms of rates. Wawa naman tayo eh. Taas ng expense ang baba ng income generation natin...:(

if you rely on 10 per hour alone, there is no possible way na tatagal ang shop mo.

but, if you go for extra services, and focus on them more, jan aangat ang shop mo. most shops focus on their rentals kasi, thats why kung mag 10 per hour sila, lugi talaga sila.

and yes, the strategy of off peak and peak rates is a good idea din. when you compute po kung magkano ang rate nyo jan, average na lalabas is 28-29 per hour. higher pa compared to the shops in manila...

pa continue na lang po dito sa isa, mas nauna ito eh. 10per hr
